The GTO combined Pontiac's muscular 389-cubic customs V8 with its lightest car, the redesigned, medium-sized 64 Tempest Lemans. This easy-to-build Revell 2'n1 kit on a scale of 1:24 has some of the most remembered factory equipment features of the car, including the triple two-barrel "Tri-Power" carburetor, a four-speed manual transmission and a double exhaust. A building instructions are included, so that skill full builders can convert the two-door “Post” coupé body into a hardtop. One of the optional street parts includes a second bonnet, which was cut out to absorb the chrome-plated blower with two four-cylinder fans and intake suction.
